Wish to conceive

I'm 36 and have a lot of pressure from the parents to conceive. I hope to asap. We just "officially" tried for
the first time last month... no luck. Any suggestions? I'm very regular on a 28 day cycle. Thanks!

I have very regular cycle, never had any issues.. But it took is 2 years to conceive this pregnancy. My husband has a great sperm count and I have great eggs, uterus and Fallopian tubes. Sometimes it just takes time, all you can do is relax and try not to stress. If people put pressure on you tell them to min their own business!!!!!!

I tracked my cervical mucus and had sex around the days my cervical mucus was egg white consistency, I also used Preseed to help the sperm get to the egg.  I got pregnant on my third official cycle of TTC, and now 19 wks..

You can buy home ovulation kits. Or Become aware of you basal temperature. Chart it for the month. Then you will know your best day. Also keep your man's stopper in a few days prior. Gives a abundance of more sperm

I second the recommendation on the book TCOYF by Toni Weschler. Made a huge difference in my own ttc journey.

I thought I was in the same boat, but it turned out that I ovulate about a week earlier than most women on a 28 day cycle. I'd suggest ovulation tests. They have packs of them that also include pregnancy tests at any Target, Kmart, or icky walmart. Lol. Just be sure NOT to take the ovulation tests first thing in the morning like you do with pregnancy tests. Wait at least 4 hours after you wake up. Also, try not to let the pressure get things you. Relax and have fun trying. The less stress you have about it, the easier it will be to conceive. Hope this helps!

People often assume that because they have a regular 28 day cycle that they ovulate around the 14th day. You may not be. I found a book called Taking Control of Your Fertility to be very helpful in figuring out exactly when I ovulate.
