going off birth control...

So i have been off birth control for 3 cycles now, and i am a bit confused. Can birth control effect your cycle length? I was on Lo Ovral for 2 years and my husband and i decided to try for baby #2. With my daughter we tried for 2 months and i was pregnant, piece of cake! but this time around is a different story! i know it has only been like 3 months, but when ttc it feels like forever!!! so my question is.... does coming off the pill effect your chances of getting pregnant right away? and also, i used to have a 26 day cycle, like clockwork! i was one day late and knew i was pregnant with my daughter! but since coming off the pill i have been anywhere from 28 - 34 days i am so confused as to why my cycle has changed!!! anyone ha any similar experiences????

opk will work but i'd by soemthing online where you get a lot of tests and test everyday till you get a +, (i'd base the starting time on a 26 day cycle) so that's be day 9 so you  might be testing for a bit

Yes it can. I was also on Lo Ovral for 3 yrs . I have been off them for 4 cycles now. My period is still not regular. The first 3 months were in between 40 to 47 days. My last one in April was 35 days so its coming around. Doesn't that suck?
