Do the OB trick and if he does it again after punch him in the throat lmao. My baby's dad doesn't outwardly call me fat - cuz he's not stupid and knows pregnant or not I would kick his a s s for saying something so disrespectful to me - but he'll sidestep saying it, saying "OHHH YOURE SHOWING SO MUCH." Etc etc and it's like dude ya pushing it saying that crap every time. And he's since stopped. Now he will annoyingly be like "ohhh look at you!" And I'm like ...pretty sure that's the same thing, maybe just pretend I'm still small in my waist area yea. And he's like OH IM JUST EXCITED. And I'm just like yes so am I. Mostly so you shut up about my damn stomach.

I dare you to take him to your next ob appointment and when the Dr asked how you're doing, tell the Dr that you're really upset because he's calling you fat. Guarantee your Dr will rip him a new one. I did this to my husband because he just didn't understand what I was going through (this was last year), he hasn't done it since. Don't say that you're going to do it just do it.
