My doctor told me to eat like i normally would. but if i fail and have to do the 3 hour one i have to eat a special diet for 3 days then take the 3 hour test. im just gonna eat breakfast like i normally would which would be eggs, and a piece of toast with some apples and grapes on the side and ice water

Also as everyone is saying not to eat, that all depends on your Dr. Some drs have you fast but not all. If your Dr told you that you could eat then eat. I didn't need to fast with mine.

I wouldn't eat a bagel. Can you have some scrambled eggs or something like that? A high carb breakfast can give you a falsely elevated result. I'd try to stick with a piece of fruit maybe and a higher protein breakfast option

I live in the uk and I had mine yesterday. I was only allowed water from 10pm the night before the test. When I got there they drew blood. Then gave me a sugary glucose drink told to sit in the waiting room for two hours. Then drew more blood. And was told results would be in the post.

24-28 weeks to do the initial test. Eating depends on the doctor personally I think not eating is stupid. And I've always eaten before mine and passed.

I thought you weren't supposed to eat for a certain time before the test?
I would check with your doctor to make sure
