1 or 2 --- or just further ahead

ugh...hey ladies....

so last week i switched doctors and i really like my new doctor...well when she was checking the size of my uterus she said that it def wasnt an 8 week uterus and she was sure i was further along or there was a possibility of more than 1 that was making my uterus so much bigger than should have been

so my belly is already popping...my hcg levels were pretty high...at 4 weeks exactly (supposadely) they were 303 and at 4 weeks 2 days they were 689...

so im wondering do you think its possible im having more than 1? or is it more common to just be further ahead...i know for sure my LMP date so im not sure what is going on

tomorrow i go in for my first real u/s and ill have my answer but i cant help but let my mind wander off today....

So did they say you're further ahead than schedule? What's your new due date?

I measured two weeks larger with my last baby but it didn't really mean anything. HCG doubles every 24-72 hours, so your numbers look fine. Sounds like it could be either, but mostly likely that you're further ahead.

If you've had another child before, it may just be that your uterus is growing faster, which is what it was in my case. I had no complications, no gestational diabetes, nothing!

You could have ovulated a lot sooner than you expected, your doc could be off on his "feeling" test.  As for drinking a lot of water...you're actually drinking just about the recommended amount.  I was at the health dept today and they said that you should consume an average of 64 oz per day so I don't think you're drinking too much.  Atleast you don't have to wait too long, since your u/s is tomorrow.  Keep us posted.

My LMP was 9/9 but my Dr says based on the U/S, I am due June 9. Which puts it off by 5 days I believe. Based on my LMP the due date should be June 15. I'm going with the June 9 date, plus he said he will probably induce me since my last was 9lbs 130z and got stuck in delivery. You'll have better results tomorrow after your U/S. Good luck and keep us posted.

i don't know anything about HCG because my doc never told me the numbers but when i was pregnant I was measuring ahead of time, then again i wasn't positive on my LMP date.  so maybe multiples!!  But it also could be extra fluid maybe

According to the chart I found your HCG is within the normal range for 4 weeks but if your uterus is larger there is a good possibility of multiples.  But it doesn't gaurantee it.  The only way to know for certain is to wait for that u/s.  Let us know how it goes!!!!
