11 week sonogram

Im sooooooo nervous. My 11 weeks sonogram ultrasound for down syndrome and all other birth defects is scheduled for tomorrow. I did NOT wanna go but hubby and sister kept pushing me to go so im going. The last time i seen my baby was wen i was 9 weeks. It feels like i havent seen the little one in WEEKS. Im scared that wen i get there, there wont be a heartbeat (scared of a miscarriage)...ive read alot of posts on here about that and it scares me to death. I hope my baby is ok :( lol i kno im prolli juss tripping but hey...im a ftm..wat can i say lol. But when u wrnt for ur sonogram ultrasound, wat was everything they test u for.??? How long were u there.?? Did they give u pics to take home.?? Plz calm my nerves cuz im over here trippin lol

Awww thanks u guys. But im still scared doe lol i have bad nerves so i cant help it. Ima try to relax doe :) i hope i get some pictures

i was just like u i still kindof iam!! i fear miscarriage its tricky until you start feeling movemtn if everything really is ok!! like ktowne said a missed miscarriage is very uncommon 95%f the time ull cramp or bleed!!t fine im 19 weeks now and i feel thr baby so once u get there there worries slowly go away:) iv been told by some vry smart woman on here just to enjoy your pregnacy because before u know it it will be over!! the 12 week scan is cool u seem them moving and somtimes they can tell u if its a boy or a girl i got told then what im having!! relax hun:)

I wouldn't worry at all, chances are your little one is healthy and happy chilling out in there! The 11 week ultrasound is fun, definitely more baby looking! A missed miscarriage (the kind you're worried about) is actually one of the least common, but I think when you put a BUNCH of women from all over in the same forum it gets magnified a little bit, I wouldn't worry about a miscarriage. For the ultrasound they just check your baby out, look him/her over really good and see if they see any markers for a syndrome, nothing scary about it at all. Most will give you pictures to take home. Don't be nervous and enjoy it!! It's so much fun watching them!
