14 weeks preggo with continuous dizzyness and lightheadedness

Hi, Im 14weeks pregnant, almost 15 weeks, and for the past couple weeks I have been getting really dizzy and light headed.  Just now at work I stood up and suddenly in the right eye I got like this blotch I couldnt see through, almost like when u stare at a bright light for to long.  It was only that eye, but I felt very dizzy and lightheaded.  Its been about 30 minutes and I still feel like Im in a dream.  I ate a bagel right after it happened thinking maybe I needed to eat.  Getting worried now, anyone have any advice?

you may have low blood pressure

I used to feel faint in the shower when pregnant

Can't recall the eye problem you say but did remember seeing stars?

Hi there

I found this for you it may make you worry less:

How will my blood pressure change in pregnancy?

Your blood pressure will change a little over your whole pregnancy. This is perfectly normal. The pregnancy hormone progesterone relaxes the walls of your blood vessels. This may make your blood pressure fall during your first and second trimesters. This lower blood pressure may make you feel faint if you stand for too long or get up quickly.

Your blood pressure is at its lowest when you are between 18 and 20 weeks pregnant. By this time, you will have produced an extra litre (two and a half pints) of blood, which your heart has to pump around your body. Your blood pressure returns to its pre-pregnancy levels in the last few weeks before your baby is born.

Hope this helps xx

Dizzyness can be normal in early pregnancy.... They advise to get up SLOWLY to reduce the risk of dizzyness and spots and the chance of fainting or falling.... his should pass... I know its a horrible feeling... BUT if its something your feeling ALL the time, you should probably call your doc to see what they say
