Ok they said I'm dialated to a 1 and my cervix have dropped.. the bby is fine.. im 17+3.. what does this mean

I hope u can get it now jus in case. So srry ur goin through all this. I pray that everything will turn out for the best for u n baby. I think they should keep u their on bedrest for awhile. Keep us posted

They said they were soft opened and dropped... but I'm already in the hospital.. they can't mess with my cervix because of t the previa.. they are trying to figure out what this clot is from and what to do

Im not sure what it means for.it to move. I do know that they can try and put a stich in your cervix to keep it closed. It is called a cerlage. As long as there is no infection. Since.you have a history of pre term labor then you are prone to having early babies. Once you go to the doctor talk to them about it all. Write down any questions you have and ask them. Do not be afraid to ask anything. No question is dumb. That is what i did with this pregnancy bc.i had my first child when i was 23+4 weeks do to an infection. I hope you can fins the answers you need and Im glad the baby is still ok.

I've never personally heard much about it moving - the cervix moves constantly pregnant or not. I know it can shorten and soften, which is also a sign of preterm/term labour but that's really it. Someone else might be able to help a bit more with that one.

Dilation this early is generally a sign of preterm labour, which you already have a history of.
