18 weeks

So my doc put me on antibiotics which in turn left me with a yeast infection. I have never had one so I had no clue what to do. The pharmacist told me to use monistat 7. It just worries me to use anything. Any comments or suggestions?

I heard monistat is fine, but when I was getting them all the time with my first pregnancy I always called a doc so he can give me something... thankk God I haven't gotten one with this pregnancy, because my doc says that once they occur usually they come back during pregnancy...

I had a yeast infection due to my antibiotics at 12 weeks. If you call your dr and tell him he can prescribe you a medication. Its only one pill but it works like a charm. My infection lasted for two days at the most after taking that pill ! Good luck !

You should consult your doctor before treating a yeast infection with over the counter medicine ....I have heard that monistat is not healthy for the baby!
