2 questions (30 weeks) PLEASE ANSWER ONE OR BOTH

1. I was put on iron pills yesterday and this morning was my first dose. Anyone else ever been on ferralet and it made you burp a lot with a horrifying taste when burped? Normal side effect?

2. I'm still unsure if it's Braxton hicks or baby. Just about my whole stomach gets hard BUT it's lumpy in one spot. It's very uncomfortable but almost painful.

Doctor's appt Monday so of course I'll bring it up...

Don't take it with calcium I think. But with proteins it should be fine. I'd ask your doc, especially if it's making you sick.

Make sure u take iron w food. I usually take at night so I can sleep thru side effects.  Drink ALOT of water bc it makes constipation worse :(

If I'm sitting still it's not painful, just uncomfortable and really really tight. If i try to move or I'm already standing (like at work) then yes, it can get a little painful. As for the pills, this morning was a little better...i goes i have to deal with it.

Pills is normal. I've had to take different iron pulls my whole life. It's weird now that I'm pregnant the only pills I'm taking are prenatal, but my iron is really good. Iron pills will make you sick to your stomach and/or gassy if you don't have food already in your system. As far as the taste, I've never had a good tasting iron pill. The other question sounds like my sisters explanation of bh

I'm having both same issues but my iron pills make me sick and my Braxton hicks are uncomfortable like ima start my period, but its no worry unless they get worse. And with my pills I just gotta deal with it
