21 weeks, tired of comments :-(

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and don't get me wrong-I'm absolutely stoked to be pregnant BUT every 2nd person keeps giving me their opinion of my size and saying "you must nearly be due?" (only just over 1/2 way) and "you sure you're not having twins?". My midwife says baby is perfect size for gestation, but peoples constant comments are starting to make me REALLY self conscious and upset. Why am I so big??? Will my growing tum slow down?

Mum mum told me she put on 4 stone with each of us.. Her stomach used to come around the corner before her and she was tiny 6 stone and 4 ft 10 in...went up to above 10 stone over half her body weight again.. Went back to normal size straight after but always looked ready to burst at 4 months... Everyone is different.. Keep your head up. There is nothing more precious than what's in your tummy and as long as it's comfortable n happy nothing else matters... Good luck

I'm jealous!!  I'm 26 weeks and people keep asking me if I'm sure I'm pregnant bc I'm so small. You should just reply yeah I'm ready to go any day now or tell them you aren't pregnant haha. Or just look dumbfounded like what are you talking about. No matter how big or how small you are oh man the comments get old fast. I appreciate the you are pretty comments but the rest I feel like mind your own business. But everyone has to give their two cents :/ or when people ask if it's twins say no actually it's a litter of puppies ;) that will get them to shut up :)

then why don't you try wearing cloths that don't really show how big you are.. using dark colors.. i know it's stupid,, but it might help you emotionally.

try to keep high spirit, it's good for you and your baby.. try exercising too,, it will give you more energy and make you feel more fit, therefore, taking your mind off the size.

or ask your man for complements :))

hope others may help more,, that's all i could come up with :)

Thanks for your comment :-) It's my first pregnancy, my midwife isn't worried about my weight and baby is healthy. My stomach is just really big. I work in retail and every time someone comments on my size, I struggle to bounce back (I know they don't mean to upset me).  I am so grateful I'm pregnant but lately its just been really hard!

bodies react differently to pregnancy,, it's totally normal as long as you are gaining the healthy weight you need and as long as your baby is healthy. is this your first pregnancy?? normally women turn to get bigger sooner with their second pregnancies.. don't worry about people. they talk a lot. 4 me,, big pregnant women are so cute and represent a very unique natural experience. you should be enjoying your time now. u'll have a lot of time to "reclaim" your shape once you dilever.
