Well I am 24 weeks, and in the last week or so, the baby has started kicking really hard. It doesn't hurt, just gets a little uncomfortable sometimes when he kicks me bladder. However, with my first son, I really didn't feel too much until later on. All babies are different, yours just might not be as hyper as mine!! Try eating something sweet,or drink a sprite. I just did and my babies going crazy in there!!! Good Luck!!
It's okay if the kicks aren't strong. Mine aren't too strong yet and I am 23 weeks. I think once the babies get bigger, their kicks might become more uncomfortable.
My babies never once hurt me. Ask your doc if the placenta is in the front of your tummy instead of around back cushioning the blows. Your baby is probably just not a kicker!!! Be glad! I wouldn't want someone knocking the wind out of me all day. ;Þ
Well I feel her a lot but the kicks are not really that strong at all. And Ive heard many women say that at this stage their babys kicks hurt... and I had a u/s at 19weeks and my baby was very active!
Well if you're overweight feeling the baby move is a lot more difficult. I have to tell you the reason I probably didn't feel kicks was because the placenta was in the front of my uterus instead of the back (by my spine). So my babies sort of had a pillow to kick at and I didn't get the brunt of the kicks. That's probably why it felt like pushing and rolling to me. Are you going to be able to get an u/s? Here's something you can try to make sure baby is okay... Get a soda or ICEcold water and eat something like a banana or something sweet. Lay down on your side and just rest for an hour. Baby will wake up and start grooving. Some babies are just a lot more quiet and others are really active. Yours is probably just a sleepy, sweet one. So try that trick. You're still early on, too. You'll really start feeling movement the bigger your baby gets.
not much movement at all.. .but i fell movements everyday!
I have two girls. The first one pushed a lot. I didn't really feel kicks, just pushing like she was trying to stretch. The second rolled and didn't do much of anything but rolling. No kicking, hardly any pushing. I felt hiccups a LOT with both (it'll feel like a rhythmic tapping or vibration that lasts a few seconds to a few minutes). Every child is different. What is it you are feeling?
Honestly, it really depends on the person. I believe doctors say to expect regular movement around 20 weeks. I am 23 weeks and I feel mostly kicks, a couple times I felt what I thought were hiccups, and I feel the baby moving around, doing somersaults, etc.
