I had the pains in my stomach during walking too and the shortness of breathe. What helped was Yoga. I bought a yoga dvd and do it twice a week. It really helps to give more room to your lungs and redirect energy to make you feel more balanced and strong.
I go on nightly 1/2 an hour walks now with my dogs and have no problems anymore!
Try it
I am 25 weeks and feeling the same as all of you. Sleeping is a real challenge for me. I am also having pains on my tommy. It is very sore most of the time. My back has started hurting if I walk a lot.
I'm right there with you. I think we even have the same due date. Only difference is I can't sleep at all. I have been doing the tums and bananas and they have helped a ton. I already feel like I'm ready and we have so long still! Good luck
I have all the same problems. and I am 29weeks. This has been going on for a while for me though. I wish i could sleep like that, i am lucky to sleep for 2 hours with no interuptions.....talk about being exhausted!
Oh yeah... all normal! No fun though!!!
Those carts are so imbarrasing I had to ride in one when I almost broke my foot....it was aweful
tums and bananas and stretching for the charlie horses.
Snoring came as a shock for me too. lol. Come to find out your sinuses swell with pregnancy and I was snoring for a couple of months after I gave birth to dd before the swelling went away and I could breath again.
I was on bedrest and family went to Wal-Mart. MIL made me ride around in one of those electric carts. Talk about embarrasing. That darned thing beeps loud when you back up. That was the first and last time I did that, but if you're braver than me give it a try. You should all do it at least once in your life. haha!
Thanks guys! At least I am not alone LOL. My husband stares at me when I tell him im giving up and staying in walmart LOL
it's all normal and I'm getting all the same things....it's not fun and so uncomfortable I get charlier horses in both legs in one night at times....talk about pain.....
and i'm doing good to get through wal-mart without beggin my DH to carry me LOL
and I'm up and down all night and when I get up to quick it feels like a knive in my tummy or side.....
and my right shoulder feels like a knife is in it all the time.....
but gotta love being prego...
For the charlie horses, on top of more potassium and calcium try stretching really good before you go to bed, then again after you get up in the mornings. I know its not easy or comfortable. And if you are getting the charlie horses in your calves at all, when they start to come on point your toes really hard then flex your foot/ankle back and forth and it will shorten the duration of how long it lasts and how painful it is. HOpe this helps.
I'm 31wks and I started having problems with walking since around 24 wks. I can go from the kitchen to the bed and be out of breath. It's normal. Your heart is pumping overtime.
If you're having charlie horses, you should let your Dr. know at your next appt. I think they put you on calcium suplements when that happens. Plus try eating food with pattasium like bannanas.
I only wish I could sleep through the night. I'm up atleast 4 x's a night if not more. I have taken up snoring. I think many pregnant women do. Probably brought on due to the physical drainage to our bodies....
Hope this helps!
All of the above have been problems for me!!
For the charlie horses, I increased my potassium and calcium, and it has worked very well for me!!
For the snoring, I started breathe right strips!! They are amazing. Hope things get better for you!!
