From my experience (I work in untrasound doing breast exams everyday), a 2cm palpable breast lump is most often a simple cyst. 2cm is actually quite big. If it turns out to be a cyst, the dr will likely give you the option to have it aspirated. It's very easy. That is done with u/s as well. They just numb the area, stick a needle in, and s u c k the fluid out. No pain. When you go for the u/s you can watch the screen yourself. A cyst will look like a big black area and the rest of the tissue will look gray. Good luck
Ya im figuring its normal, as most are. It just feels so obvious when i touch the area of my breast i was like 'whoa what is that' and my husband was like 'i feel it too get it checked'! Then i thought ew i felt this hard little bump so long ago and now its bigger so weird. I didnt have anything like it with my first child. Im sure its just a cyst or benign bump.
I have a little bump on my areola as well.. I've heard it's normal in pregnancy because of hormones & changing breasts. Don't stress until you know!
