2nd time ttc and it seems harder than the first

I have been trying to conceive now on and off for over a year. Background: I was on depo until May of 2006. I have returned to normal periods and I think I am ovulating, but nothing has happened yet. I am currently in my 2ww. I am feeling a bit nausous, my bb's are tender (but they usually are before my period), I feel pretty tired (but that could be that my 9 year old has been sick and keeping me up at odd hours), and I keep getting these cramps that feel kind of like af cramps but they feel different. I don't know how to describe them, but the cramping just doesn't feel the same. I am due to start next friday, but I just couldn't wait. I have poas twice, both negative. I am hoping it is my time, but I just feel like it will never happen. My first child, I wasn't even trying and it happened. This time, I am ready and nothing. It's so frustrating.... I haven't posted in a while but I do read the threads often. You girls are amazing support.

Just need a little encouragement... Nikko

From what you're describing, it seems like you could be pregnant. It might just be too early to get a postive HPT. I've been pregnant twice, both unfortunately ended in miscarriage, but with both I had very tender boobs and had AF type cramps early on.

We've been trying now for over two years, so I totally understand your frustration. But this could just be your month! If I were you, I would wait a few more days an take another HPT! Good luck to you!
