31 week contractions!

I'm only 22 weeks but my cousin is 31 weeks and is in the hospital with contractions 4 mins apart. Has anyone gone into labor this early or know someone that has? What are the risks being so early and what are her chances of a healthy baby?

That's what happened to me I am 32+1 started having contractions.every 4 min and was dialating they kept me until yesterday sent me home with 2 pills. I took the last one about 12 hrs ago and my contractions have started up again about one an hour. Don't know what they are going to do with me but I met with the nicu dr and she said at this point the baby would need feeding tube and oxygen other than that just to put on some weight. I hope all.goes well for her. Do you know if they gave her steroid shots or iv magnesium?

They stopped her labor and sent her home on bed rest. An hour later the contractions started again and she is back in the hospital. They are going to try to stop them again but aren't telling her much.
