So to summarize,

Anya - July 5th
Maria - July 8th
ZUZ - July 8th
Eternidad - ?

We all due almost at the same time...like you, I wish my baby comes a little earlier, maybe on the first?
I do not have any sharp pain but I do feel pressure...I also have a doc appt tomorrow where she will do the strep b test and check for dialation...I bet I am not dialiting yet, I am only going to be 35.3 weeks...

Hey girls, sorry for not posting sooner, I was trying to work for my school paper (can't think of school, honestly!!!) and staying late at work...they don't care about me being so miserable at work and they pile up stuff for me....my mw said that I have a perfect pregnancy so she can't write a note :( Anyway, I am SO SWOLLEN too and get numb all the time! Plus, I can't make  a fist at all, and I can only wear the ugliest shoes because these are the only ones I fit in...and you know what? I don't care even though I look horrible at work..like a bum :)
I have been having lots of BH and they are getting stronger..especially if I lay down, oh boy is it painful (like someone is dancing on my bladder and pinching me all over my pelvic zone!)
I asked about pressure and was told that it is a contraction..I think its my baby's head. btw, she is not engaged all the way :( so I guess I won't really deliver before 40 weeks  and like ZUZ, have a scare that will go past my due date :( My MW won't induce until 41 weeks AT LEAST!
Every day now I am waiting for labor to start and nothing. Oh, I was told, LOTS of sex...right......sex has been extremely painful for me even though lubricated so I try to avoid it at any cost, honestly but MW said it really helps to provoke labor.......hubby was happy to hear that :)

Is everyone's baby's head down?  Are they active? Mine is pretty active and Im happy about that!
Anyway, CONGRATS on being full term, LADIES!

I AM CREATING THE FINAL THREAD, calling : Full Term and Ready To Deliver
Sounds good?
Let's continue there!

Hi!  I had to sit down for a minute!  There is sooo much to do!!  I'm washing all of Kaydens clothes and bedding, emptying the closet of my stuff, and trying to straightening out and cleaning our little home while I'm am it!  Whew! Am I pooped!!

Maria, your babys weight is fine.  It sounds like you are going to have a normal sized baby but on the higher end of the scale!!!  Don't worry.  Everything is going to be perfect!

Eternidad, I'm with you!  I'm 38 weeks on Wed and I'm praying this baby comes out soon!!  I don't want to sound ungrateful.  I am SOOO thankful for baby...but I am so tired of being pregnant!  ;) I just want to hold my little man in my arms and hug him and kiss him!!

Zuz-My hands and feet are swollen too. Feels funny when I try to close my palm. Oh yes and the numbeness too. Since now I am full term I am ready to deliver. I have an appointment and probably the last u/s. I am just praying that the baby is not too big.  As you said baby is getting cramped and it hurts when he/she moves and also the urgency to go to the bathroom.

Eternidad-Congrats on being full term. We have come so far together in this long journey of pregnancy. I pray that we have a easy delivery. It's good that you are home. No more 12 hour shifts. It must have been so difficult for you in the past few weeks.
Thanks for the info. I am constantly worried about the diabetes passing on to the baby. During the last u/s baby weighed close to 7 pounds, that was three weeks back. I am praying it is around the same weight when they check tomorrow.

Anya- how are you feeling now. Hope it's getting easier at work for you.

We just have to wait and see who will go first. Good luck girls! We are very close now.

Hi Girls,

So I'm getting pretty miserable.  I'm so exhuasted all the time now.  My hands and feet are swollen and they go numb if they are in the same position for a few minutes (like right now).  I have my weekly appt tomorrow.  I hope they say I'm close (like tomorrow!!) !

Eternidad, I'm so glad you are officially home from work!  That was too much!

Anya, your pics are adorable.  I think my tummy looks like that too so I don't get why they say its measuring small!?!

I know the baby is in tight living quarters from the way he moves.  He hurts sometimes!  I just can't wait to have him and just stare at him for a little while to see all his movements that I've been feeling!

Maria, how have you been feeling?  when is your next appt?

I wonder which one of us is going to be the first to go!!  :)

Anya- I love your new belly pic, definitly you look more than preggo, and don't feel bad who knows if your baby might want to come out sooner, right now you are definitly full term and your little one has everything it needs to be outside your womb.

I just turned 37 weeks today, yipee, so excited, hopeful this or next week I might have the baby.

Hi girls, sorry could not post any sooner.
Things are well, talked to my doc, she wrote a note to my manager and officially I am off work resting at home putting my feet up.
Zuz- so glad you are getting the nursery ready. I am happy we are all so close.
Anya- that i supsetting that your manager is not letting you go off early. I am prtty sure if your MW writes a note they will have to do it thought.
Maria- I don't think they baby will have diabetes, but they willl definitly check him/her few times before leaving the hospital for it. The only sad thing is that the little munchking will have to be poked several times on his little heel, but baby it should be o.k

Glad you are all in the 37 weeks, I will be tomorrow sunday, what a relieve to have made it this far.

Hello Girls!

So we all want to go early. I would like to go before 39 weeks. It's not because the discomfort or pain I am going through, I am just worried that the baby should not grow too big. These pains are very common and also normal in the last weeks of pregnancy. I can go throw these pains again just to have this bundle of joy. Yesterday when I told my doctor about this pain, he said the baby is sitting on a nerve and there nothing we can do. Pain will go away after the baby is born. So that's a relief. I don't want to be in pain when I have to take care of the little one.

Zuz-Good that you can work from the comfort of your home. So there is no morning rush to get to work. Well I will never complain about this pregnancy and I shouldn't at any cost. It's a blessing I got pregnant after trying for so long. These pains what I am going through is nothing compared to the joy I am going through. Some women would have so much complications that they were put on complete bed rest. Now I can't say this pregnancy was not easy. So let's enjoy the these perks of pregnancy too.

Anya-You poor thing, you should talk to your manager and see if you can get to work from home if not you should take leave atleast from next week and take lots of rest before your princess is here. Is it some particular food that is bothering you or is it everything you eat? Is my tummy measuring fine or is it big? It was 37cm yesterday.

Eternidad- How are you doing? Are you at home full time? It's very relaxing to be at home.

Hi All!  So I'm almost getting used to not sleeping anymore, feeling fuzzy headed, and not being able to put a sentance together anymore from lack of sleep!  Maria, I'm sorry you have so many pains. This pregnancy hasn't been an easy one for you.  God willing, things will be perfect as soon as your little angel arrives!!  Anya, I don't know how you wake up and go to work every morning.  I'm really liking working from my couch.  Even my brain is tired lately! Just take care of yourself and listen to your body.  You're almost there!!  I think you're right about us being a little late.  I have a (scary) feeling that I'm going to need to be induced at the 41 week mark!  It seems so far away!  :(

Maria and Zuz - Congrats, you are officially full term now! How exciting! Like you, I really don't want to go for much longer because I can feel how hard it is getting..I had to leave work early yesterday because I had several stomach attacks (only from eating soup!!!) and then horrible nausia...I went home and slept for 3 hours. I think I am deprived of sleep because I only sleep like 3-4 hours at night and then go to work!
Also, my managers decided to have career discussion with me today, ugr....hate those! So yeah, something to look forward to!
Im having all kinds of pains these days but the worst are those stomach attacks after all kind of food..I don't know what it is but I hope it will end after pregnancy! I can't belive we only have 2-3 weeks to go but I really want to have this baby next week sometimes...aha, wishful thinking!!!!
My managers are not letting me go before my due date.....I mean, I would go if I had PTO but I don't have extra PTO..so I am so stuck!
Anyway, hang in there everyone, we are sooo close!!
I have a feeling that Maria and Eternidad will go prior me and Zuz because you both measuring fine and we measure a little small :) Just my thought.

Zuz-I am all excited that I touched the last mile stone. But can't go on for long. I am ready for this baby. I can't go through the pain any more. I have also decided to take epidural during delivery. I can't even imagine that pain.

Eternidad-Did you talk to your manager? Good that you are getting off from work early.I can only imagine what you are going through. Take care dear.

Anya-Your pictures look good. I have not put my pictures yet. I should do it too.

My doctors don't induce until 41 weeks either..UGH!!!!!  I'm 37 weeks today and really can't wait to give birth!  I shouldn't want to rush things since I have so much to do!!  My husband just sold all of our guest room furniture, mattress, painting and lamp for an extremely low price just to get it out of here!  We finally picked out the colors we want for Kaydens room and are planning on getting started on that as soon as possible.  His cradle should be here in the next week or two and cradle bedding by the end of the week. We have a million returns to make from the baby shower and I guess I have to go from there.  I'm so nervous!  I feel like I'm running out of time!  And it dragging at the same time.  I'm sure you all feel the same.

Anya, at my 35 wk u/s, baby was 5lbs 8oz so I'm thinking he's around 6.5lbs now at 37 wks.  I think he'll be somewhere around 7-7.5lbs maybe.  I do not want a large baby.  Just a healthy one.  I'm going back Tues for another painful exam.

Eternidad, please try to rest.  You're so close!  I know it's not easy being on  your feet and working 12 hour shifts in nuts!  You have to take care of yourself and baby.  I hope you have half days instead of full ones!

I wasn't going to do anything for the nursery until Kayden was here but I'd like to get it out of the way.  One less thing to worry about!  Our 'to-do' list in 10 miles long!!!!  I'll post pics once its complete too.

Maria, happy 37 weeks!!!  How are you feeling?  Ready to go???  I think we all are at this point!  :)

Hi girls!
I am in the same boat as you all. Discomfort, pressure and pain. I had my appointment today. Tummy is measuring 37cm. I don't know how much baby is weighing, will find out in the next u/s next Tuesday. During my last u/s it was measuring big. Hope its not too big.Strep B test came negative and that's a relief. By the way, touched the last milestone today. Thanks to God!

Eternidad- You are right about the pain I was having in the upper abdomen. I would have been the baby kicking right below the ribs. I am not sure if the baby has dropped. If my doc said he could feel the baby's head during the cervix exam, does that mean baby has dropped?
I would like to deliver before 40 weeks, at 39 weeks. I can't take this pain anymore. The pain in my upper right leg is killing me. When I  get off from bed it takes few minutes for the pain to subside. It's horrible.
I wanted to ask you, since I am on insulin will the baby be affected? Would it get diabetes? This thought has been bothering me.

Anya-You will be soon touching 38th week. Now I am wondering who is going to deliver first. Don't think too much about the baby's weight. Smaller the better, you can have a easy vaginal delivery. Like eternidad, we don't set up baby's room before baby's arrival. We got the furniture(crib, dressed/changer combo). We have the crib in our bedroom, now I am thinking to move it to baby's room and then get a cradle so that that is not too big to keep it next to our bed. By the way, when is the right age for the baby to sleep in the crib?

Zuz-Congrats on 37th week. Feels nice.

OMG, you poor thing Maria! I am so happy you are off work now, is this PTO for you or short term disability?
I can only imagine how bad it was for you to walk for 12 hours, you are nuts! I still work but I seat most of the time , although trips to the restroom are painful alright, as much as all the meetings i have to attend....

btw, girls, check out my belly last week! Is this a good size?

Anya, I talked to my docotor today and she saids my cervix is thinnning out quite a bit, so she suggested to be off work from now. I left a message to my manager, so as of today I am officially off from work. My husband is quite happy about bc he was starting to get worry about my lower pelvic pain.
I cannot tell you how hard it is to be on your feet for 12 hours walking around my unit and baby kept pressing down in my bladder, it is quite painful. I cannot even get out of a chair or bed without being in pain. Never being in so much pain my whole life.

Eternidad - I understand that you are confused about baby measuring smaller and bigger 2 weeks ago. Even though I don't have u/s, it depends on what midwife measuring my stomach, one does it and Im right on schedule, another said that I am smaller. OH WELL, if your baby is over 6 pounds, it is a very good size baby!!!! Most of babies are born between 5.5 and 8 pounds! So you are on a good side already! Plus you soon will be full term so that's good!
I know it is a little upseting that you are not dilating yet, I want to be more then 1 cm myself! I would love to have this baby at 38-39 weeks, I am kinda scared to go over 40 weeks... My 38th week will start this Sunday, so close, WOW!
I don't feel as much pressure, just sometimes, especially with BH and wanting to pee.. I too am thinking on taking my PTO a week before my due date, I d hate doing that but it is getting so hard to walk! Maybe I will work Mon and Tue, and take PTO Wed and Thur, and Fri the 3rd we have off due to a holiday.

Hi guys, I am doing well, just came back from docs appoitment, had another u/s bc as you know I was measured big, but surprise today I measured smaller by u/sinstead of 36 weks I measured 35 weeks by the baby weight, that is what the u/s tech said. I am still very confused bc 2  weeks ago by u/s I was measuring 1week ahead and now I measure one week behind, oh well, like my doc said nothing to worry about.
Today's baby's measurment was 6 pounds and 2 ounces, I guess that is o.k for 36 weeks and 2 days so I don't know what she said that if baby weights 6 pounds I should be 35 weeks?
The checked my cervix, no dilated but some thinning is occuring, stills lots, lots, tons of pressure on my pelvic area, it hurst somuch to keep walking and working. I don't think I can keep working 12 long hours, so I am going to talk to mymanageer and see can we can do.

About the nursery I hae not put anythingup yet, in my cutlture we wait unitl baby is born and then we arrange everythiing, what a hassle. But as soon as I have it up, I will e mail you guys the pics for sure.

ZUZ - I had exactly same thing!!!
I didn't have a u/s so I don't know whats the weight of my baby....but my belly is also measuring small ...my mw said though that the baby dropped a little and that's why Im not popping out 37 cm as I should and it is totally fine! Plus, think about it, our babies have to be at least 5.5 lbs and that's a perfect weight!! Another few weeks, and I m s ure my baby will be 6.5 lbs..that's the weight I want her to have :) Plus, delivery will be easier!
I also had the most pain when my MW tried to touch her head , it was SOOO PAINFUL!
I know it was -2 station, which means the baby dropped 1 station, another 2 to go to get to 0 station...
so even if your cervix is high, that's ok, another 2-3 week then! I just hope that I won't be overdue :) Cuz my practice doesn't induce until week 41!

Hi!  I just got back from the doc.  She said my tummy is measuring small but baby's heart and weight from u/s sound look perfect so she's not worried. She said it's probably because I'm small.  Whatever.  I'd just like to meet Kayden already!  I guess I'm only 1cm dialated.  She felt his head.  I almost screamed from how painful that was.  Apparently, my cervix is way high.  Ow.  He isn't ready to come out yet.  Maybe that's a good thing since his cradle isn't even here yet???  :(

Hi Girls!
Eternidad- I don't feel my baby dropping, meaning I don't feel any extra tension and pulling low...so Im not sure if she has dropped or not. And my practice no longer checks my cervix so now I have to wait till 40 weeks for them to check again. I hope to give birth before though :) although, peeing and getting up from bed has been a nightmare, like for most of you!!!
You still at work right? I think its just two of us left..I also go to school which sux because my midterm is going to be on july 6th!! and my due date is July 5th!!!

ZUZ- I am ready too for this baby, I want to be out of work concentrating on my baby and unfortunately, school. Strep b isn't painful , just a swab, don't worry :)
We should exchange pics of our babies rooms, should we do so to our emails?

Hi All!  I'm happy to hear you're all doing well...as well as you could be anyway!  I'm so ready to have this baby. Really.  I have so many aches and pains now.  Walking hurts!I'm going to the doctor tomorrow so well see what they have to say.  I have that strep b test tomorrow too.  Ew.

I had my baby shower yesterday and it was just beautiful.  I couldn't have asked for anything more.  We got everything we needed and then some.

Anyway, I should get back to my mother in law and my husbands nana.  They're going back to Florida in the morning.

Hi girls,

Anya- congrats on reaching the 37 weeks, yipeee, so glad you are out the scary waiting period, anytime now baby can decide to come out right? Glad your strep was negative.
Mine will be done tomorrow since I am still 1 week and a half beind ou. I also feel like the baby has dropped my belly is not so high up and heartburns are getting better. Oh boy the trips to the bathroom are bad, more often and so freaking pinful.

Maria- at times when the bay stretches out, my upper abdomen used to hurt a lot too, bt since yetserday I notice that the baby's kicks are getting a little bit more lower, so I think I am dropping. When I laid on my side my upper abdomen hurt like heck on the side especially, so I guess is pretty normal. I am also feeling more BH contraction snow, so I guess I must be getting closer.

Maria - Thank you, I am so happy I am full term...I really want to have my baby at 39 weeks the latest :)
About the pain in upper abdomen, does it feel like gastrites (heartburn' or anything like that?) or more like cramps? Cuz I get the heartburn, acid pain almost every morning these days and sometimes at nights!~ It is also a nightmare to change positions at night and get up to the restroom...
other than that, I had my 37 check up today and i was dissapointed, they don't do any more of cervix check, only listen to heartbeat (which was good, 135) , and the measurement of a stomach (35 cm). I asked her why Im 2 cm behind and she said that the baby is droping and so im not popping like that anymore...she saiud, everything is good....oh, and my strep b test is NEGATIVE!

I had my relative baby shower this Saturday, it went well! We had bbq on a deck :)
Im glad that all of you are doing well, I wonder who is going to deliver first?
It looks like my baby is on a smaller side, so I might deliver later..I don't know!

Hi Girls!!!
How are you all doing? I had my baby shower on Saturday(Indian style). It went on very well.I got some gifts for the baby. Now I have all the necessary things required for the baby.
Two more days I will begin my 37th week.
Yesterday I started getting pain in my upper abdomen. It started in the evening and went on for a long time. I tried to sleep and the pain was more. I was about to call the doctor if I didn't feel the baby moving. Then the pain subsided and I could get some sleep. The pain has started again..Is it cause to worry? Is anyone feeling the same too?? If it continues I will call my doc.

Anya-Congrats!!! You are now full term.
