36 weeks pregnant, sudden dizzy, fast heartrate, swelling is worse, blurry vision ect... Cant get ahold of nurse

I have a question ladies. 2 days ago for 2 days ive had a hard time breathing, i feel like i might almost hyperventilate but try to stay calm and dont. Then i was ok yesterday and again im feeling it.  Also nausea comes in to play when i do have trouble breathing. Also  dizzyness and sometimes mild shakes. I am 0 station, and 50 % effaced. So i always thought when they drop breathing is better. Ive never had problems with breathing cause hes always been low. Any ideas? He didnt move up by the way i still feel him REALLY low and all that anal(which started last night)/vaginal pressure (which ive had for a while). Oh, and my heart today seems to be skippin alot. Ive had heart palpitations for the past few years and it seems to be really actin up today. Also ive been swelling alot more lately. my blood pressure was ok at last weeks appointment. ive been trying to get a hold of the nurse but i keep getting put on hold for 10 min, im on a cell so i have to end the call. Im going to the grocery store to check my bp, if its norm then i will will wait until my next app tuesday. Any ideas whats been goin on?

I don't know what could be going on but it doesn't sound good.  You should keep trying to contact your nurse or go to the Emergency room if you can because dizzyness and nausea and swelling is NEVER a good sign.  You need to get checked right away.

I agree w/ Mumita.

Your symptoms are not normal and could be a sign of something serious.

Do you have the option of leaving a message rather than being put on hold?  Why not go directly to your doctors office and talk to someone in person?

In the mean time, make sure you drink plenty of water and lie on your left side but it does sound like you need to be seen today.

Usually your doctor's office line will have a button you can push to be directed to an operator who can get you in touch with someone immediately.

This sounds like maybe pre-eclampsia (sp?) or something serious. Definitely get seen ASAP, whether by your doc or L&D (don't go to ER- they're not as knowledgable about prenatal care).
