36 weeks pregnant braxton hicks 5 min apart

Should I go to L&D..  ??     I'm 36 weeks pregnant on Monday and right now I'm having non painful Braxton Hicks contractions..  they are occuring every 5 min or so..   Should I go in?  or should I wait it out?

Hi, Funny I'm also due Sept 15!  A baby girl. We're also in Az.
I started having painless, inconsistant contractions last thurday. And Today they became to be 5 min apart for two hrs straight but have since slowed. I wasn't worried about them until I spoke to a woman yesterday that said her contractions were painless but definitely the real thing as it ended up being true labor cause her water broke after they were 3 min aprt and was crowning as she arrived to hosp. So now I'm very anxious as I am sure you are. There's just no way of being certain if it's labor or not.

i have been having that for the last several days...they are regular every 5-7 for me, but after about 30-40 minutes, the pattern stops and i don't have any more for a couple of hours.  i hope you get some good dialation out of it!!!!  glad you are okay :-)

i swore i was in labour a few times when i was pregnant a year ago and everytime i went to the drs i had dilated or thinned out...so you never know...i was induced in the end so..

well I never did go to L&d..   contractions stopped "pretty much"  they are happening very frequent but not regular..   I'm hoping she stays in there for at least another week.. :)
I have a doc appt on Tues, we'll see if I'm dialated at all..

oh my goodness!!!  that girl has been trying so hard to come out!!!!!  i hope that everything is okay.  i agree with the other girls, if nothing else, at least call your doctor.

Yes! Go!  Anytime you get more than 4 contractions an hour and are pre-term (less than 37 weeks gestation) you need to go to L&D.

get up and walk around and see does it stop!! If it doesnt then go in!! YOu could be in labour...if its real contractions and there not painful..god i say your soo lucky..lol..and if your in labou r i hope thats as bad as they get!! good luck hun!

if they are occuring every 5 minutes those arent braxton hicks... real contractions get regular and 5 minutes apart is pretty regular
