3hours glucose test

Did anyone take this test?  3 hrs glocose test. How was  ur experience?   I am there noe and I just got my first blood drawn at 7.29, and next is 8.29, then 9.29 and 10.29. But after taking that glocose drink, I am already feeling like hell. Feel like throwing up already.

Finally,  I passed my 3 hours glucose test. Yea!!!! Thanks everyone.  Now can't wait until Monday to find out d sex of my baby. I am hoping so much it will be a girl.

I took mine. I hated it!! At first I was feeling fine, im like "Oh wow either im handling this like a pro or everyone was exaggerating about the sick feeling"......30 minutes later I was sitting there looking like a zombie lol I felt like I was gonna throw up, everybody was looking at me , it was so embarrassing

Whatever u do, DONT THROW UP. It will ruin the whole test and ull have to go back and redo the test. I did it and it *****! My last blood draw showed 2 points over the normal range so i had to get a meter n keep track of my blood sugar. Its not that bad but a little inconveniencing

With my daughter I failed my 1 hr and passed my 3 hr. I only failed my 1 hr cuz I didn't know about the test n had koolaid before my appt lol

I just did the 3 hour test on Friday, it was hell. I was starving and so thirty, that made me so nauseous. It was such torture!!! I feel for you but it will be over before you know it! I passed mine and I was so relieved!! You wouldn't believe how many people fail the first time but pass the 3hr!!

The first glucose test is at 24 weeks. If you don't pass then you have to do the 3hour. Everyone is asked to do it.

@mommabears, u dont take d test except ur blood work dat was initially done on ur first prenatal visit came back high. That is when you will be scheduled for the 1 hour test, and if d one 1hr comes back high too, then they schedule u for d 3hrs test to determine if you have gestational diabetes.

I hope I pass too. Bcos I don't want to deal with any diabetes with pregnancy.

I took it with this pregnancy. It made me so sick :/ my results came back normal.except for one number, which makes them think the baby might be big, so I have to go for another ultrasound at 38 weeks. I don't think this will be a big baby though since my other kids weren't big, but I guess it is possible. Hope your resulta come back normal :)

I haven't even taken my 1 hour one yet at how many weeks do you take that one? I have never done the 3 hr one but I think the one of an hour is miserable I can imagine the 3 one. I hope you feel better soon.

I had to do the 3hr glucose test with this pregnancy. I never felt sick though. I only felt queezy when i was drinking the bottom of the bottle since all the sugar settled. By the time i left the lab though i was really weak and shakey. I was starving. I passed the 3hr test thankfully.
