4-5 DPO cramping

What is this cramping from? I usually feel cramping on the left side during ovulation, and since yesterday I've been having on and off cramps mostly on the left side, and once or twice on the right side. Anyone have a similar experience?

After conception, your body does not try to expel the embryo....
cramps ets, isnt usually felt during implatation.,what many women feel in many cases its the egg burrowing in the right place in order to substain a good healthy pregnancy.some women experience bad cramps around ovulation others dont, same as with our cycle, the egg maybe making its way down your tubes, this could be what your experiencing.hopefully next week or so you can test, best of luck.

I had implantation cramps with Grey (this time) but not with Kahlan...and they happened at about 4/5 dpo. I got my positive at 10dpo with Kahlan and 9dpo with Grey and in theory it's possible to implant anywhere from 3-12dpo, so maybe it's a good sign! Oh, and my implantation cramps were on the left side...which is where Grey hangs out now most of the time, lol.

So if you are pregnant you'll get cramps cause your body's trying to get rid of the baby, but if you're not pregnant you get cramps cause you're about to start your period....

Weird!! I can tell you that the earliest thing that I noticed was dizziness and that was REALLY early!! I still don't get cramps or twinges...sometimes but not often. I found this bit of info that I never knew for you!!

Ordinarily, cramps after ovulation are contractions produced by the uterus, in preparation of menstruation. In a normal month, a woman's reproductive cycle goes through the process of releasing an egg from either or sometimes both ovaries, at which point if a woman has sexual intercourse, it may result in the egg's fertilization. The lining of the uterus thickens in preparation of implantation. If no pregnancy results, then the lining begins to deteriorate, eventually shedding as menstruation. If pregnancy does occur, the fertilized egg attaches to the uterus. It is during the time in between fertilization when the uterus contracts. During early pregnancy, the uterus will first contract in attempts to dispel the embryo, and then produce growing pains while it extends to make room for the embryo, and cramp-like sensations are felt. In the case of a non-pregnant cycle, after ovulation occurs, the uterine lining is ready to be expelled, resulting in cramps.

If it is on the sides where ur ovaries r then generally it is not implantation cramping. Ur ovaries might be stimulated a lot causing the pain. Implantation cramping is usually in the middle where ur uterus is. all the best both of ya...

I don't know if it's true that you get symptoms early or not. I've read women saying they get symptoms as early as 4 DPO, but it could just be coincidence.

i never tracked O day before, I don't know if I ever had it before, as I only started tracking things like this for a few weeks now after the m/c, I've read that some women get it due to implamentation, so I'm hoping thats it, cause I felt nausea allot at that time. Couldn't eat the things I liked, and weird smells almost made me puke, all that is gone now, so as yet, I'm taking it as my brain was playing tricks on me, as I was told you don't get any signs that early

I've had cramping after O before, but not normally like this. It's back and forth between my left and right and like right behind my pubic bone.

I too had that cramping that changed sides all the time, thought maybe it was my imagination, had that together with nausea.I had it on dpo4 till dpo6, then nothing again. well, testing on Friday or Saturday, will then know if it was implamentation or just my head that played tricks on me
