4 days till due date and really bad back pains
Well i've been having this really bad pain in my back since yesterday i told my doctor about it and he didn't say anything he just told me to go home have sex and come back monday this pain just wont leave it only keeps getting worse and i noticed this discharge sometimes its clear but my panty liner be soaking wet and then sometimes its brown but i haven't seen any blood i don't know what to do i can't even sleep,eat,it hurts even when i lay down no matter how im laying don't want to go to the hospital cause its so far and i don't drive and the cab is really expensive i don't know what to do
yes and if your water broke they wont send you home, they will keep you there for obsevation. i really would suggest going.
yea it sounds to me like your going into labor... when are you due ? I had horrible back labor with all 3 of my kids.
I had back labor with both my boys. When I delivered my second son I told my midwife that I had my membranes stripped earlier that day, she told me that was why I was having such bad back labor:( My doctor with my first pregnancy did it for me too , just to get my labor going and I had really bad back labor than too:( Try laying on a heating pad on low, a nice bath and some tyenol might help too...I definitly think your little man is on his way though...good luck!
i had back labor , i could not sit long at all/ if i layed down i layed on side it still hurt it woke me up , i think i would be checked by the time i got to the dr to get checked i was dileted to 8, i just though it was a bad backack. so yes you need rto be checked. good luck
first off don't change your liner...if there is any more fluid go to the hospital, let them see how much/color. and when you go up you "pain level" a bit, make it a bit more dramatic, really put on a show, sometimes its the only way to be taken seriously. Also I know someone who ws having back pain all day...caller her neighbour who was her obgyn to come check her before she went out to a dinner party, when the Dr checked her she was like 5-6cm dialated so was sent directly to the hospital and had the baby with 1-2hrs of going to the hospital...mind you she was planing on going to this dinner party...so do what you have to to make them take you seriously, and say you won't leave...that they have to do something about the pain...be very demanding
yeah i have insurance now that you mention it but another thing to worry about is how will i get home if they don't keep me the busses stop running at like 12 but they probably stopping earlier being that its good friday then i will be stuck in a whole nother town till they start running again and that's not till 5:30 am
I called and told them they kept putting me on hold and everytime someone picked up the phone they asked me the same thing i finally got to really speak to someone and i told her what was going on all she said was that i can come if i want and they'll check me but if im not in labor there going to send me home
it also sounds to me like you lost fluid. sometimes it comes out slowly and there isnt a big gush when your water breaks. and if this is the case, then your pretty safe to go to the hospital. i also wouldnt have sex or put anything else up there because it can cause infection.
the other thing to consider is if yu have insuarence that pays for ambulances, call 911, go by ambulance, here at least that is the best way to be taken serious and to get looked at faster. If you are in so much pain that it's making you cry then you need to go to the hospital, being uncomfortable is one thing....but pain is another
It sounds like you are having back labour and it also sounds like you have lost some fluid

i'm so sorry hon... i've never had back labor myself but i've heard it is really painful (not that regular labor isn't!!!). i don't have any advice... just wanted to say that i'm excited for you that its so close!!!
