4 week 4 day pregnant

hi i have 2 kids i had an ectopic pregnancy in dec 2008 doctor gave me 2 injections to clear the mess from my left tube and that pregnancy was over then i waited for 2 period and on 17th march 2009 was my last period i had and hcg on 7th april it was negative then i had anothe hcg test on april 17th 2009 it came 71.86 now i am worried that because i had an previous ectopic pregnancy this low hcg level is again making me worry. please help guide and advice me is that hcg level is normal or there is really some thing to woory about.

I had a miscarriage the end of August at 12 weeks but the baby only measured to be 5 weeks . I have not gotten my period since . Last week I had my mid wife test me and try and find out why I never got my period
. She said I was 3 weeks pregnant . I have one  9 year old and he was big healthy and perfect. What are the chances something will go wrong again ? We were not trying this time

They should re-test your levels to make sure they are doubling every 48-72 hours. That would be the best way to tell what is going on. Then once it reaches a certain level, they should want to do an u/s. Just a number alone won't be able to tell you much as everyone woman is different, it's the doubling that's important. It seems fine, you are very early so i would really not worry until your a little further along. If they start doubling then your pregnancy is fine. I had an ectopic last year too and lost my right tube but i think my hcg never really rose at all. I was terrified that this one would result in another one because i was bleeding on and off but this time no period cramps the whole time. Im 40 weeks now.. :) Do you have another doc appointment? See if they double.... I was just like you though i went to the ER like 10 times lol I was terrified of another ectopic and i swore i was having another one not to mention i had an empty sac at almost 6 weeks!
