41 weeks pregnant tomorrow

I'm 41 weeks tomorrow, baby's  a whole week late and it's driving me crazy! I've had my 3rd stretch and sweep today at 3.30 and have my fingers and toes crossed that this one will get baby moving or I'll be induced on Friday or Saturday! ... I really wanted to avoid being medically induced but this little lad hasn't paid his rent and needs kicking out! Ahaha also, we can't wait to meet him so I'm desperate now to have him in my arms! ... Is there anyone else who has had a membrane sweep at 41 weeks and had any luck soon after?? Midwife found my cervix very easy and was  quite pleasantly suprised how easy the sweep was to perform! Very exciting stuff I'm just waiting and hoping it will work! Stories on membrane sweeps please!!! :)

I'm 39+4 and just had my first membrane sweep today. Feeling mildly uncomfortable but hoping that I start getting contractions tonight!

My son (2nd baby) was born at exactly 41 weeks. I went into labour about 12 hours after my sweep. May have just been coincidence though cos he was ready. Good luck

It depends on how far along you are As to how uncomfortable it is! I wouldn't say it's painful just uncomfortable, but today's one was hardly noticeable :) I just walked up beacon hill as I heard walking up a hill helps to get things moving along... hope it works!!! Ahaha x

I have read lots of labor stories on this app that started with getting their membranes stripped.
I've never had it but plenty of other women have and went into labor a day or two after:)
