Well, I went to my OBGYN and they couldn't find a sac. They said they should be able to see one by now. I'm waiting on blood tests to determine my hcg levels. So, it seems as if I've indeed had a miscarriage. I've been cyring, but I'm okay. Alot of support and to know that I'll try again in about a month is very helpful. Thanks to the people on this site for their info and encouragement.
Went in to the ER because of the bleeding and I began to pass big clots. Still, no cramps. In a nutshell, they said I was 4 weeks pregnant and the sonogram was inconclusive. Bloodwork looked great. They weren't sure if it was a ges sac or possibly a clot. Too early to tell of couse and I was sent home like you. So, I will call the Doc on Monday and have him do more bloodwork and measure my hcg. I think I was somewhere around 4k if I recall. The thing is that I remember the guy that did the sonogram stated if my levels were that high (before they checked) then he should be able to see something. Is this true? The nurse was very blah and while I do understand this early is 50/50, she was basically like, well you could have had a m/c already. WOW. Is that true? Keep you posted.
Any time you bleed in early pregnancy it could go 50-50 either way. The sad part about it is that if it is a miscarriage there isn't going to be anything that they can do to stop it. If you are bleeding extrememly bad like soaking a pad an hour than go to the hospital otherwise I would say just wait it out and contact your doctor on monday. The thing about the ER is that they aren't trained as obgyns and a lot of the time will give you inaccurate info. I started bleeding at 5 weeks (and continued to bleed for 5 more) worse than a period the ER told me that I was definantly having a miscarriage because I was bleeding so bad and because they could only see a sac on the ultrasound (of course at 5 weeks that is usually all that you can see on an ultrasound) and ended up sending me home. I'm now 37 weeks with a healthy little girl. I hope that everything turns out okay for you and its up to you what you want to do. Also not having cramps is a good sign. Please keep us informed of how it turns out.
