5 weeks Pregnant and i have strep throat

Hi there i am wondering something since i have miscarried Twice already but i went to thew doctor and he told me i have strep throat and prescribed me Amoxicillin for 7 days am i just being over protected and worried at the same time i just dont want nothing to happen to this baby and advice would help right now he said it is safe but i would like anyones advice also thanks for listening !

Thank you ladies yeah we hardly ever do get sick but when we do it comes in bunches lol anyways i feel a bit better at least i can eat right now and it dont hurt ! thanks for your input much appreciated !

I agree w/ Clysta.  Doc won't give u anything unsafe as long as they know you are pg.

Amoxicillin is a class B drug, and is considered safe to use. Studies using 10 times the normal human dose in animals have failed to show any defects. Your doctor won't give you anything that isn't safe for your baby. Good luck!
