6 weeks or 6 months?!!!

So Im about 6 or 7 weeks pregnant(i havent been to the doctor yet) Im generally a small person, 5feet tall and under 110pds. But over the last 3 weeks I have gained almost OVER  6pds. But I seriously look like Im 6 months pregnant! Im not vain,I dont care if I gain weight,Im just wondering why. I know your not really suppose to gain any this early. Im eating more than normal, but Im a vegan so I eat all healthy food, I also work out at least 3 times a week. Just wondering why this is happening or if anyone else has gone through this. Thanks!

But I am the same size as Moonshine if not smaller. I still fit into size 6 clothes, and I am 18 weeks and just started getting a noticeable bump. Yes everyone is different. Which is right.. with my step mum she went backwards, her first she got the biggest bump and her 6th was the smallest bump... She went backwards.

I was only saying it is more than likely bloating, as unless you are having multipules and or have had children before it is rare to start showing showing at 6 weeks. Is all! I didnt mean to be harsh.

Sorry!

My husband would be sooo excited if it was twins! I think I might be a little scared..but excited.  My vegan diet is very healthy and very safe...I talked to someone before ttc about what I eat and ran test to make sure everything was good.

It is possible for people to show at 6 weeks, so to say its not possible it unfair.  It depends on your body type actually.  Those who have a very low body fat will look as if there is a golfball/baseball/softball sitting on top of the pubic line.  It will NOT expand beyond that if it the actual uterus.  Any growth above that is likely bloating, as previously suggested.

Vegan diets can be healthy during pregnancy, but I do suggest you see a nutritionist who is familiar with vegan diets and pregnancy to make sure you are getting enough fats and protein during pregnancy.  Vegan doesn't always mean healthy.

Maybe you are having multiples...just a thought, but even so it would probably just be bloating still.

Like Smjmekg said, its more than likely bloating, which everyone does get.. :)

You will not show that soon, unless you have had kids before. Then your uterus is still under your pelvic bone...

The bloating thing *****. Its like aww look how pregnant you are..nope just bloated lol. But it might have something to do with your vegan diet. Once you get pregnant your body reacts to things differently so it might be digesting stuff different or it might not be digesting things like it should. I mean I know that while your pregnant things will give you gas and heartburn that never gave you gas and heartburn before so I'm assuming it would be the same with bloating.

You're probably just bloated. Your uterus isn't big enough yet to be showing up over your pubic bone, it's still way low. I was really bloated to begin with during this pregnancy, and it went away and then the real baby belly started to show.
