66 yr old mom

okay ladies lets talk... did u hear about the 66 yr old mom? what do u think about it? me personally im JEALOUS. im 23 and have never concieved. but by that age i think i would have just givingup all hope... how do u feel about the situation????

shes a champ. i have a young family myself im 23 my moms 38 and my gma is 57.my gma said theres no way she would have a kid at dat age. she says this is the time she enjoys her life.

I hope she does have some typd of back up plan like wills, godparents etc. bcuz we dont no when we will die and 2mrw is never promised, she could get hit by a bus or something.  To each his/her own she is the one who has to live with her decesion.  I grew up in a neighborhood where this boy was my age 12 and his parents where in there 60's, i thought it was a little freakish bucz they looked like his great grandparents and my parents looked so much younger(well they were).  I would never want to have a child at that age especially being a single parent, it already s-ucks for women who are young and have to be a single parent.

I hope she is happy and lives a long time to see her child grow

YEAH SHE IS BLESSED.SHES SAID TO BE HEALTHY DATS WHAT MATTERS.BUT I TO WOULD HAVE SOMEBACK BONE SET UP.WILLS,GPARENTS ETC.I MEAN TO EACHES ON. BUT I WOULD NOT DO IT. I CANT IMAGINE MYSELF. I for one am very happy for her, she finally has her own baby. I don't find it selfish at all, there is no expiration date on any of us, we don't know when we're going to die and if this woman is in good health she could live to be over 100, and even see her own grandchild(ren). Nothing's impossible. I think it would be kind of cool to say my mom was born in this year, and saw all of these things during her lifetime. I mean, she's 66...a lot has happened in the last 66 years. Granted the child probably won't know it's grandparents, but still...she's dreamed of having a baby for so long, and it finally gets to come true. She's lucky, some people go their whole lives wanting a child and not getting one. Even if she is older...she gets her own little miracle.

I think its totally nuts personally and I would never ever do it!! I would have given up as well!! However we live in a world you can do as you please but i would say if you were going to do something like this then everything should be properly set up for the child meaning godparents,wills,money whatever it takes to make sure the child will be cared for in the event something tragic did happen!
