6dpo with a positive

hi everyone i am new to this board.  I have been reading the forums and everyone seems to be very knowledgeable.  am wondering if anyone can help me.  Okay i had my last period on march 14th i got a very large mass of ewcm on march 30th.  Something i have never seem before as i got off bc about 4 months ago.  So i assumed that i was ovulating.  Yesterday afternoon which would be 6 dpo i went and got a clear blue plus or minus test and it was a faint line, it showed up in about 2 minutes once the test line came through so i was not comfortable with the test so i went and bout an answers test used the same urine totally forgot about it til this morning looked at it and lord and behold another pink line.  then this morning i used the other test that i had of clear blue same thing faint blue line within a minute after the test line.  I hate blue test if i would have know it was blue wouldn't have bought it but i did and now i am confused.  so tell me what you think i am more confused now than ever what do you think????

I'm 6 Dpo, and I'm experiencing cramps in my lower back, and on my right pelvic bone. I'm having restless nights, and very vivid dreams;;
I'm feeling like i'm starving, and thirsting to death. I ate, and now I feel nausiated. Could I be pregnant?

I think you're pregnant!.  The other test you used could be detecting hcg at a higer level than the the first test you used.

Wait another couple of days and get the digital test...LOL!  That's what I had to do.

But I'd bet money that you're pregnant.

Or go get a blood test, although you might have to wait a couple of days for results.

lol i said maybe she ovulated earlier than she thought in my first post! doubtful she'd get so many faint positives if she's not pregnant.

I have a good feeling about you!  I have read everything on those goofy tests and their faint lines.  I got a line so faint i almost didnt see it at all and had to ask my husband and sister if it was there.  we had to look at it under a lamp.  It was and I'm now pregnant. But to tell you the truth i had my hcg blood test and my level is 13 (im barely pregnant) and somehow it is picking it up on the digital test that don't pick up til 50. Go figure.  Please keep me updated.

wow didn't know there was so much controversy over such a simple line.  One of you ladies should develop the ultlimate pregnancy test.  The one that is so simple its basically a blood test at home with no second guessing as i am.  but to clear the air joy i have read on here were ladies got a faint positive and i also visited the spot called peeonastick.com something like that.  i don't know what to believe on this world of info.  if i ovualted earlier what was the clear abundant discharge. I am so confused.  ladies what do you think it was any suggestions observations???

implantation can happen at day 6, but nearly impossible to make it to your urine, it has to be filtered through your blood then through your kidneys, I don't think she has had that many false positives, I think she might have "O"d a little earlier than she thought.

actually implantation happens at 6-12 days post ovulation and evap lines are grey so if the line is blue tinted and not grey then it is a positive.  Pink ones are easier to read so yes actually you may have enough hcg at 6 days post ovulation to get a positive result.  I did.

I have to disagree that "a line is a line" because there are such thing as evaporation lines. The blue-dye tests are notorious for them and have given many women false hope (including myself).

It isn't possible to get a positive at 6dpo. If you are getting true positives, that are faint, then you have had to have ovulated sooner than you thought. The fertilized embryo doesn't even implant until day 7-12 after ovulation.

So if you are pregnant and getting true faint positives then you have to be at least 8dpo or later.

Yes you are probably pregnant!  A faint line no matter how faint is a positive as long as you read it in the time frame (most are no more than 10 mins)  If you want a sensitve digital test first response yes or no is the most sensitve it should pick up a 18 where clearblue easy digital doesnt pick up til 50. Good Luck

Digital tests require a higher level of HCG. Hang in there, you will know for sure in a day or so! Good luck to you, PS I think we all POAS'aholics around here! (peeing on a stick).I was still peeing on stick till I was nearly 8 weeks! LOL

i wouldn't expect anything other than a negative or a faint line at this stage. a faint line is still a line. i'd gues that you are pregnant. the test you left overnight doesn't count, it's void. perhaps get a hcg blood test done.
