7 Days late, 1 - test, but pregnancy symptoms?

Ok, so my LMP was on April 3, and my cycles alwaysss run 30-31 days, which makes me currently 7 days late.....I tested 4 days ago, around noon and the test came up negative, but i've been way more exhausted recently, my libido has seriously increased, im peeing more, been hungrier, my boobs are tingly and sensitive,...and i get this random twinge where i'd usually get pms cramps, but its different.....anways, could I still be pregnant even though the first test came up negative? I'm never this late....

I am waiting for my period to see if its + or - .  we tried for many years and didnt happened. Now i got a brown spot for 2 days and expecting my period on 5/12....

I gave up 1 year ago, I am 42y/o and since I have a business and a carear i did focus in my business and i have been doing great...but now  this is so weird for me and back again:
symtpms:

5/4 and 5/5  brown spots and cramps

5/4 to 5/10 still have cramps, sore throat, tired

expecting period 5/12..............

I've heard of women who didn't get a positive pregnancy test until they were 6 or 8 weeks pregnant. For some women, it just seems like the pregnancy hormone takes longer to reach the urine. If you continue to be late, I would try to schedule a blood test. SSBD!
