7 Weeks Since Period, Negative Pregnancy Test?

It has been seven weeks (49 days) and I still haven’t gotten my period. My last period was September 13th although I am rarely “regular”. The time between my periods has ranged from 47 days to 20 days in 2005, with 32 days being average. I haven’t been on birth control although my partner and I use condoms.

I took a pregnancy test (Answer Early Result) yesterday and it was negative. I don’t have any of the symptoms of pregnancy—no nausea, soreness, headache, fatigue, etc—just the missed period. I have an appointment with my OB/GYN in a week. Could it be possible I’m pregnant, even if the test is negative? I followed the directions exactly.

As for my lifestyle, I’m often stressed, I don’t exercise, and I’m about 10lbs underweight. Regardless, this is the longest I’ve been without a period… and nothing about my lifestyle has changed. Does anyone have a similar story or personal advice? I’m getting really worried.

Thanks!

Best of luck to you,, we are also in same condition, today is 47th day and still negative. my doubt is for late periods like my wife for last three times is getting periods on 40th day , so what is the best time to test, already one week had past 40th day and still neg.

My periods are usually regular but not this month. Ive had 2periods this month 2weeks apart. You could possibly be pregnant. I was 2months pregnant with my daughter before i found out through a blood test at a family planning. I test for 2months at home with a HPT they were all neg. Some women just dont have enough HCG levels. My 2nd pregnancy was the same 2months before i found out. The only reason i thought i wasnt pregnant with both was because i had a period every month even though it wasnt normal. Hope this helps a little bit.
