7 weeks; hCG 30,793; and no heart beat

So, we conceived little Dot (nickname for now) on New Years Day Jan 1. I had my first ultrasound (u/s) last week on Tuesday -- that put me at 7 weeks exactly. I've been having symptoms since beginning of week 2 (sore boobs, dizzy when I stand, exhausted, eating more than usual/a few cravings, headaches when I don't drink enough water, frequent urination, etc. NO morning sickness at all though, but my mom said she didn't get any with me). Anyway, at my 7 week appt on FEB 19th the doc said he couldn't find a heartbeat.  He used a vaginal u/s.  We saw the yoke sac, but couldn't make out much of anything else on the monitor.  He sent me for a blood test later that day, then another one on Thursday (48 hours later). My tuesday number was 30,532 and thursday was 30,793. The numbers are rising, but the doc said it wasn't enough. So he sent me for ANOTHER test yesterday. The doc hasn't called me back yet, but I don't know what to think about this. My friends are saying everything is fine and they "know I haven't had a miscarriage" but I'm afraid I have.  ANY ADVICE???  Has anyone gone through this before?  I know my circumstance is fairly uncommon...  ANYthing would be helpful! Thank you!

Last week on tues I was 7 weeks. I'm just passed 8 weeks now.

The only u/s I had was last week. I'm waiting on my test results now and will see the doc tomorrow. What if my numbers rise a little bit again? Is that still bad because they're not rising enough? ....probably shouldn't have bought the crib already. It's just sitting in the living room ready to be put together :(

Or was that all the same day as your 7week apt? Something pretty similar happened to me in march, I went in for a 8 week apt where my Dr did the first scan to see how far along I was and dated me at 6 weeks with no heartbeat went back 1 week later to see progress and there wasn't any... they called it a blighted ovum as well :( it was really hard to come to terms with losing the pregnancy and I then ended up having a emergency dnc bc I was bleeding too much (the bleding didn't start for 2 weeks after the 2nd scan) I know its tough but all you can do is wait and see and hope everything turns out good! On the brighter side I am also expecting again and I'm almost 31 weeks so hang in there, there is light at the end of the darkness!

Did they find a heartbeat when u went for the the first scan that told you, you were 7 weeks?

The same thing happen to me back in September. Unfortunely, my pregnancy did not progress, they called it a blighted ovum. Im hoping that is not your case. Good news is that I am now 8wks and heard the heart beat at 6wks. Since it has only been 5 months from my blighted ovum they are repeating an u/s tomorrow to check progress.  Dont give up, if its meant to be it will all be fine.
