8 weeks and 2days pregnant and no fetal heart beat

I went for a scan yesterday and i am ment to be 8 weeks and 2 days pregnany.
they did the scan and found every thing but a heart beat.
they measured the baby to be 7 weeks but they told me that it was non viable pregnancy.
All i could do was cry and say no again this would be my third misscarrige.
i went to my doctor straight away and he sent me to the hospital for a dnc.
when i was seen by a doctor she wanted to check my hcg levels which were about 4000 i think,
now i have to go back on monday and have another blood test to see if the levels are going up.
my question is if i am only 7 weeks is it normal to not see the heart beat and what are the hcg levels ment
to be around the 7 week mark. please help i dont want to loose another baby.

am sorry about that.....just remember there is still hope. they told me the same thing and they wanted me to get a dnc but i refused at 7wks. they told me that i was gona have a miscarriage. am about 11wks pregnant and my baby is growing well and has a heat beat now. sometimes they are wrong and you  have to be strong and have faith. all babies grow  differently and need time. some of us ovulate later. they have change my due date twice now and by 2wks. i wish u the best. keep us updated.

it's not so much what your level is, but how and if it rises that's important.

some don't see the heartbeat until around 8 weeks pregnant, so it's possible all is well. they're doing the right thing by checking your hcg levels again. if your hcg levels rise, it means your baby is alive, and if they fall...it didn't make it.
