8 weeks pregnant - tylenol cold multi-symptom

I am 8 weeks pregnant. I had a bad cold, so she took some Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom. I took about 5 tablets for 2 days... I'm worried now because my ob just told her to avoid that particular medication. will everything be okay? I just hope it's not bad for me and my baby.. thanks

It may depend on what trimester she is in. However I phoned my OB on Tues and was told to take Tylenol Cold for my chest cold. That it is perfectly safe.  I am 6 months pregnant so unsure if that made a difference.

However she really did take such a limited dose over 2 days time I am sure baby is just fine. :)

sorry.. I meant to say my wife... I'm just so nervous reading all these material online about how bad tylenol cold multi-symptom medicines are so bad for pregnant women in their first trimester. Especially the active ingredient, phenylephrine. is this true?

please help.. i just wish nothing but the best health for my wife and our baby.

You or she should tell her/your OB about taking it. Are you really the person who's pregnant and sick, or is it someone else? You kept saying she and her...just wondering.
