It's tough for us, I know. I usually start with 2-3 crackers in bed first thing in the morning. It settles my stomach and prepares me for the rest of the day. Being picky is a big problem for me too. I usually bring 3-4 lunchs to work and hope that one of them will be edible! If not, the grocery store is a hop, skip and a jump away from my work. Just have lots of options around you and little often, even if it's a little bit. The longer you go without eating, the yuckier you will feel and the more picky you will become. Stick it out and try hard - it's worth it for our little ones! :)
Im a couple days behind you with my first pregnancy and having the same problem. Food is really hard to get through but for me at least anything with out a smell goes down easier. fruit and yogurt is usually what I eat the most now because it doesn't have a harsh smell. And when I'm not eating that I just eat pretty bland food. I almost eat like a picky 5 yr old now lol. hopefully it gets easier for you!
Wel... the best thing to do if you cant eat lots... eat little and often... I am saying this as a pregnant woman and an anorexia sufferer. And trust me! Little and often... even if its toast or something... They say its better in pregnancy to eat 6 little meals a day instead of 3 big ones :)
xx
its so hard wen its ur 1st , it will get easier, try and eat ginger biscuits thats stops u feelin sick, and just try 2 remember that baby needs all the goodness u can provide so do try and eat a little sumthing , good luck with the rest of ur pregnany x
I had the same feeling when i was 8 weeks, it lasted till my 12th weeks. I think its normal. Mood swing is very normal too. I remember when i was 11 weeks. Im very sensitive, i cried a lot even if its no reason.. Its the nature of pregnancy.
