A mother's instincts??

So I know I could've just called my doctor earlier today,  but honestly I do not trust she's going to take me serious without some evidence. I haven't been able to sleep very well lately and all day today it just felt as if something was wrong. I don't know if one of the twins hasn't made it, if it's slower in progressing, going to be stillborn, or be okay, but end up with special needs. That's as rational as I can be, but it just feels like I'm coming out of this pregnancy with one:( I have been feeling slight movement on my left side since early on and is getting a little stronger, and that's where the dr found the 1st heartbeat. She wasn't even sure she had found the second, but I felt very very light movement where my hair would be and that's where she thought the second heartbeat might be. But I haven't felt anything in days from that area, just the left side and now the very most bottom of my stomach is contracting. Its been doing it since last night and isn't very painful, my muscles are just getting tired of tightening and loosening, but I can't get it to stop. It'd kill me if I lost one, but my instinct is telling me something isn't right. Think I should go off my instincts and get checked out or am I just crazy with all this and worrying wayyy too much?!

That's the kind of Dr I want. My insurance is military, so it's hard to find someone that accepts it plus works with the hospital I want to go to. I should have gateway by the end of this month, then I can go to my old dr-the same that delivered both of my boys.
I don't know how anyone can drink so much lol. I'm drinking on every commercial break, through commercials and it fills me up so I haven't even gotten hungry today.  I feel the same as last night except now I'm exhausted. This isn't fun!

I go to the ER if I really feel something is off, and I have two OBs (I've had some complications) who both encourage me to call them if for any reason I'd feel it's necessary. I had to call my OB at 4:30 am one time, and she called me back in less than 2 minutes, told me she was happy I called if I was concerned...she also called me in for an ultrasound the very next day to check on the baby. If you really don't trust your doctor, I'd definitely encourage you to switch too; our relationship is too important and the stakes are too high to put up with somebody who you can't trust.

Yes, both babies still have a strong heartbeat. They kept moving so it took her a while to find them, but they settled where she began right under my right rib..I'm so glad both are okay and thanks everyone for the support

It's 6 of those 20oz bottles lol I feel like the only thing I do is drink water and pee, but I guess even that's not enough. Doc said vitamin water every time a commercial would come on tv..so like every 10 mins. Also said the hot shower was the cause of almost everything bc it opened my veins and lowered my blood pressure and heart rate and me almost passing out is equivalent to my body resetting itself..called vagal reaction. I should've told her about the vomit with blood in it(happened again today) though bc that's on the list of reasons to go back to the emergency room-and my reg Dr said it meant nothing!

i think you should go get checked out immediately because i had that instinct too with my last pregnancy and when i went to the ER they did and ultrasound done and they didnt find a heartbeat. i had a feeling something was wrong and i kinda knew i would M/C and i didnt know when and thats why i went into the ER and the baby passed away at 9w2d. so yes it would be your motherly instincts your getting. dont wait last minute hun

Tea is a natural diuretic.  You should be drinking 8 to 10 glasses on the water and maybe even a little more for twin pregnancy. And movements don't become regular until around 24-28 weeks so if you don't feel them as much it can be normal.  After a drink and a snack if you still feel uneasy go get checked.  Good luck.

6 bottles of water a day really isnt a lot. You need to drink more the warmer it gets and the farther along you get. Keep us updated!!

I'd get checked out to if I were you but I wouldn't worry about the movements as much since your not very far along and it can be hard to feel movement plus babies are still very small and move alot second baby could be in a new place and hard for u to feel the hits. As for the rest of your symptoms you should go in never feel bad for your instincts and how u feel! Good luck I hope all is well with both your little ones.

I agree.....eat a snack and drink a big glass of water.  Also if you don't trust your dr this early look into getting another.  Good luck.

You sound dehydrated and light headed. Drink and eat something so you don't pass out. Sit down, relax and try breathing calmly.

I'm 13+3 so not very far but I cannot get a good number for l&d so my bf got off a half hr early and is headed home now. I took a shower and symptoms jumped to stomach and back pain, blurred vision along with big black spots here and there, all of a sudden I'm sweating, a terrible migraine, and real nauseous even though I barely get sick these days

How far along are you? Go get checked out. ALWAYS trust your instinct!! Decreased fetal movement is enough on its own to go get looked at. Along with slight contractions.

Can you call and explain the symptoms?? tell them your having twins and your experiencing regular cramping...they should tell you to come is as preterm labor is much more common with multiples...THEN when you get there tell them you think something else might be going on...hopefully you hear both heartbeats...i am thinking the only thing that might be hindering movement of baby #2 is placenta placement...so dont worry yet...but i would totally go with what your instincts are telling you...keep me posted!!
