A one day period?

My girlfriend and I had unprotected sex the 13th of this month. Up untill now she has been waiting to get her period (usually toward the end of the month) which she got on monday but she said she woke up with cramps and bleeding went to sleep and woke up perfectly fine...and hasn't had a sign of her period yet. so im wondering is it too early for a pregnancy test and...should i even be worring since she atleast got a partial period...any help on a one day period or if its too early for a pregnancy test is much appreciated.

Try testing if it comes up negative then retest in a week if she still doesn't get her period if still negative go to her doctor and request a blood test
