ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

So I was nominated to do the challenge and while I think most people doing it aren't doing it for the right reasons, I still wanted to donate and do the challenge to raise awareness and tell all my FB friends what doing the challenge is really for. My question is, is it safe for me to do it? I am 26 weeks and figure it should be fine but I just want to make sure.

I did it and my pregnant aunt, we both are totally fine! It's won't shock your baby

@WaitingForOct That's what I figured. I am not jumping into a frozen river, just dumping a little bucket of water on my head. Besides, it has been pretty hot out lately. Thank you ladies. I was just curious but I should be okay.

Lol. There is nothing wrong with dumping a bucket of ice water on yourself. You will not "shock" the baby. Your body temp will barely go down. Just don't sit around in cold clothes for hours :P

Personally i wont be doing it because during pregnancy you get sick more easily and our immune systems are weak. Also it may seem stupid but im not risking pnemonia especially not while im pregnant
