Abortion

My friend told me that she heard if you get an abortion when your young it decreases the chances of getting pregnant again, but I know someone whos had two abortions but has a healthy baby now. Is it true?

It is and isn't really. Sometimes with abortions there are complications that can cause problems in the future.

It doesn't decrease your chance of becoming pregnant again but it can cause other problems in pregnancy like premature dialation of the cervix and if there is a lot of scar tissue in the uterus it can make it difficult for a pregnancy to attach. But if the abortion was done properly and a woman takes care of her self properly post abortion then that greatly reduces risk of any complications. I've never had an abortion as i do not believe in them but a friend of mine has had one and I went with her to her follow up appointment and this is what the dr told her.
