Hey ladies.  Hope everyone is having a good day, and enjoy their weekend.  I have a question about O... Well I just recently started doing the BBT and my temps seem really low.. They have been 97.43 between 97.70 is that normal???  I'm wondering?!?!?  Oh and another ? ummm yeah this is going to be weird. But how do you check your cervix??? I hear all the talk about high and low and soft and hard... Thanks again ladies for you help...

Thank you lil'emma, I appreciate it. Don't be too hard on Shawndell. She  didn't read my last comments or know what happend to me. I like comming on this website because it lets me talk about what happend to me. My husband is hurt about this but it's like everyone is trying to forget and so they do not want to talk about it. It's just really hard for me to stop talking about this right now because it's so recent. It just happend a week ago.

Thanks to both of you... Yes I'm trying to be patient but its so hard to... Especially when you see pregnancy all around you... I'm going to try my hardest to be patient though.  And thanks about the cervix info... I greatly appreciate it.  Yeah I will probably get some gloves and try also.   Wow corine thats good to know that you had a boy that you and dh were hoping for... Just hope you didn't have all girl stuff from seeing the ultrasound!!

I know just how you feel. My first pregnancy was not planned but this last one was. It took me 2 years to get pregnant, and my husband and I wanted a son so bad! that's why it is so hard for me to have lost him. Things were going so great. And we thought it was a girl during the Ultrasound, but it was too early, and when I gave birth we found ot it was a boy.

To find your cervix you may want to be in a squatting position or have one foot on a stool. Insert one or two fingers into your vagina and push them towards the back of your vagina. You will reach a spot that feels firmer than the rest of your vagina. Your cervix may feel soft like your lips or firm like the tip of your nose. You may notice your cervix feeling more open or closed. Find a comfortable position to check your cervix and use the same position each time you check. If you use a different position, you won't be able to compare the position of your cervix accurately. It may take you a cycle or two to determine when your cervix is softest, firmest, highest or lowest.

Right after menstration, your cervix will be low and easier for you to reach. It will feel firmer and closed. During ovulation your cervix will be higher and more difficult to reach. It will also feel soft, wet and you may notice it feeling more open. If you have given birth before your cervix may feel more open than someone who has not. After ovulation, your cervix normally returns to a more firm, lower position.


I just read this,but please remember to make sure your fingers are really clean,you dont want to get infection,this is why personally i would rather a proffesional do it.    
of course its hard when you really want a child,but you know corine28 is right it will happen when you least expect it...good luck.

Thanks Corine.... I will take that to mind.  I know they say you get pregnant when you least expect it, Its just so hard not to think about it when you are wanting something so bad!!!

Well, I've never checked my cervix. The OBGYN does that. I am not a Dr. But I think that the only way that you will figure out if you have a short, long, thin ect cervix is when you are pregnant, during your first Ultrasound whenthe baby is actually putting presure on your cervix. As for an ovulation cycle, my first pregnancy was not planned and my second, I had checked out some website that calculates the ovulation period and it worked. But I guess, Practice makes perfect hun? It is easier to become pregnant when your mind is clear and when it is less of a "job" and more fun. I'm sure that making a baby part is fun for you and your hubby, so don't stress so much and good luck.

They have been 97.43 between 97.0 is that normal?? I'm wondering?!?!?!? I bet I still want know when I O if it hit me in the face... But me and hb have done the bd 2 nights this week.  But from my calculations I shouldn't O until the  25th with AF on the 12th right??? So should we continue to bd up until the 25th??? And after the 25th that would start dpo??? Oh and another ? ummm yeah this is going to be weird. But how do you check your cervix??? I hear all the talk about high and low and soft and hard...
