Accupressure for labor?

Being induced in just a couple of days and my cervix was totally not dialated on Thursday, so watching videos on accupressure to induce labor over here. Has anybody ever tried this? Were they successful? Not too worried about going into labor right this second, but would like my body to be more ready to go into labor on Tuesday.

No idea hun but bouncing on birthing ball apparently can help move things along and prepare your body for the whole process. Xx

If you try it, will you let us now how it goes? I'm not far enough along to try. But I have heard of it working with a few people I know.

I had my husband do my accupressure points everyday for weeks and nothing. I was dialated to 2 by 32 weeks lol and now at 39 still dialated to 2 so I am being induced Wednesday because just like with my son it seems like once I hit a certain point my body doesn't progress any further.

I have had it done but by a massage therapist and went into labour four hrs later, I dont know if you can do it hard enough, as when it starts to hurt you tend to stop, where as when  my massage therapist did it I nearly hit the roof, it was sooo tender, he only did the points by my ankle as well :)

I wondered if I was doing it hard enough...it is hard to do it to yourself I think.
