Acne

I can't stand it anymore! I never use to break out this much. :(( its all around my chin. Does anyone know of any acne washes that are safe to use during pregnancy? Im only 13 Weeks and i can only imagine how much worse its going to get.

Ugh, I hate it too.  For me it's even worse than when I was a teenager.  What's been helping me is other than washing my face 2x a day is wiping my face down with a clean, wet cloth a few times during the day.  It gets rid of the excess oil without irritating my skin.  Then when I'm out I keep some baby wipes in my purse to use.  I just try to rinse out the aloe and other stuff in them before using them on my face.  Give it a try!  It can't hurt :)

I have no acne this pregnancy but I do have "pregnancy mask" where my face is so flakey that I feel like a sheading snake! No matter how much water I drink or hydrating mask or even moisteriser my face is pealing and red! It's really bad and horribly noticeable! Exfoliating burns and makeup makes it worse! From liquid to bare minerals smh its pretty awful!

I had the same problem. I talked to my doc about proactiv and she said it was fine to use during pregnancy. So I started using it. My fave has cleared up a lott but because pregnancy tampers with your hormones... nothing 100% works until baby is born..
The proactiv has worked wonders for me though.

Unfortunately your hormones are throwing your body off tract even your skin. I'm 24 weeks and suffering the same. I use plain anti-bacterial white dial. Get your face wet, apply the soap, let the soap dry, then get a clean wash cloth with warm water and wipe the soap off. Don't dry your face afterwards just let it air dry. This definitely worked the best w me for this pregnancy and my 1st pregnancy. This is from the mouth of a dermatologist that told me. Good luck. Congratulations

I have had this problem with both of my pregnancies. If I wash my face everyday with my regular soap I'm fine on my face. I break out bad on my arms and nothing I have tried clears up my arms :(

I had bad acne before I got pregnant and had tried all sorts of things to clear it up. And I couldn't find anything that worked. Once I got pregnant my face broke out so bad. I talked to my doctor about what is safe for me to take while pregnant. She prescribed me a topical medication that has helped to clear my skin up. Only downside is that it has taken 8 weeks to actually clear up. But it looks better then it did pre-pregnancy.
So ask your doctor for something. Or ask what is safe and what isn't safe to use right now.

I have never had acne not even as a teen n its not acne now but face does break out here n there all the time now n never did before . In my 1st pregnancy it never happened. Now I'm 29weeks and its still happening. I have at least 7 different face washes creams n cleansers n nothing helps. It's been on going this whole pregnancy. My Dr says its normal its hormones. I'm thankful its 1 or 2 here n there but from having none to a few n as soon as there gone a new spot breaks out ....sux.

I broke out all the way from week 14 up until now. I'm 27 weeks almost 28 weeks. I just use regualr acne facewash, and this thing at the Dollar general called "acnefree". If you use it exactly how it says it will keep you clear, I did it for a few weeks, then I ran out of stuff and never went back and bought more. I broke out on my face, my chest and my back. Hope this helps!
