Acrylic Nails and Tips

Is it harmful for me to do tips on my nails? Ive recently had a death in the family n just went straight for my nails nibbling...they look not so good now..any tips or advice since i dont want to harm the baby with chemicals.

I have had my feet & toes done. I think main concern is fumes. Like rachb said, we all need pampering & sounds like you can use some extra right now! As far as traveling, my doc said to stay close to home after 34 weeks.

I have gotten mine done this whole pregnancy and I am 41 weeks. I would just suggest find a place that is well ventilated.

Yes, condition and talk to your doctor, generally when you're that close they're a little weary about letting you travel long distances incase anything happens you need immediate attention.

Is traveling bad during the 8th month? Im.no where close but had travel plans to Trinidad and idk if I should consider still going....im sure I need to see first when that time comes what my condition is like....

I wouldn't stress too much about biting the polish off the nails, really, I'm sure she'll be just fine, try to make sure you keep your mouth busy if it's really hard for you not to, gum, or candy maybe? I'm sure she's not hurt at all though, and I'm sorry for your loss!!

I have never heard that getting your nails done is harmful actually so definitely go for it. Sounds like you need some self pampering anyway dear. (:

I heard it was safe .. just to wear a mask so you won't inhale the fumes.

I get mine done. A couple pregnant people I know do as well. It's should be ok
