Afraid of the scale..

I've always battled my weight and tried staying thin. When I got pregnant I was 138 lb and 5'6. I weighed myself up until about week 10 and I weighed 145. I'm not afraid to weigh myself and don't even want to know my weight when I visit my doc at 14w. I'm 13 w now. I'm afraid of weighing "to much" and getting depressed. I'm showing already and I just feel like I've gained alot in my stomache, thighs and butt area.

Heat and pregnancy don't mix stay hydrated. Drink lots of water and I mean have a water bottle with you where ever you go. You can start doing light exercises. You should if you are concerned about your weight although working out when pregnant is more of a health thing than a lose weight thing.

I know I'll gain weight and I'm ok with it. I'm just so afraid to be the girl who gains a crazy amount or that I'll gain faster then my doctor recommends. If I'm told I'm gaining to fast or to much I'm afraid it'll make me want to diet which I know isn't good for the baby.

I've not really been exercising. I've never been one to exercise and when I would try to loose weight I would watch what I eat. I've been exhausted since getting pregnant and I get light headed when out in the hot humid weather. Heat never bothered me till I got pregnant.

Sweetie you are making an entire person. Like a whole human being. You are going to gain weight but it is ok. Look at it like this. One day you are going to be looking at your child and you will not be worried about the weight the stitches the sweat blood or anything. It's ok. No one gets pregnant and not gain weight.
