Almost 34 weeks and baby still breech!

So here is my question, what is involved in spinning the baby. my doc said i have a choice of just going for a c section or trying to spin the baby first. I would prefer to not have a c-section because of the recovery time. So i would really like to hear peoples experiences with this. Also i am just so miserable and uncomfortable, combination of the gall bladder attacks and insomnia i think. any tips on how to get a better nights sleep, because at the moment i would be lucky if i get maybe 3 hours a night!

Before you make a decision on external version (flipping the baby) do yourself some good and research it. I did online by google external version and decided against it, the rate of success and complications outweighed the c-section for me . My son didn't flip and I had a c-section. I recovered very fast and I was up and walking the day I had him. I did walk a little slower, and get tired quick but I think that may be with any form of delivery. Good luck with her turning, and like blueeyedtabbycat said benadryl and tylenol pm may help with the sleeping!

Well I am proof that there is hope , lol! My baby girl ahs been breech my whole pregnancy and I was prepared to have them turn her next week (37 weeks). Well today at my 36 week appointment they did a quick u/s just to check position and she was head down!!!! I am so releived to know that. Everyone kept telling me baby has time to turn and I really didnt think she would. Well she did and I hope she stays head down untill I deliver:) There is a woman here (GRose) that had her baby turned at 36 weeks and he stayed head down untill delivery:) Maybe she will see your post and answere you too. From what I hear it can be pretty uncomfortable but worth it.
Im not sure about the gall bladder problems and because of problems with it I dont know what you can take or not but if you want to ask your doctor about it I take benydrl sometimes to help me sleep, or tynelol PM. But you have to remember at this point in pregnancy you will more than likely still get up every hour to pee, lol:) Good luck with the sleep and I hope baby turns on its own for you!!!
