Am I Pregnant?

I tested positive on a home pregnancy kit last Thursday, since then I have tested negative on 3 tests. my last period was on 16.12.2010. I am confused, am I pregnant or not??

What type of test did you use the first time? If you used a blue dye test the are notorious for false +'s, I had 2 this month myself. The EPT came back faintly + on Fri and Sat. and then I woke up bleeding Sunday. First Response are the most reliable. So what kind did you use that were neg.? If you can answer these questions maybe I can help you further.

I used a shops own brand test first, the one that came up positive. The 2nd one I took the next day was the same as the first one, but cam back negative and the other 2 were clearblue digital tests and both cam back negative. Is it possible the first one was a false reading? Still doesnt explain why my period is late?

Yes it is possible the first was false. Especially if they were blue dye test. Your period could be late due to several things: weight change, illness, stress, are just a few. The digital test are not as sensitive as some of the lined test. I would go and buy a First Response Early Result test and take it with first morning urine tomorrow and see what it says, if it is neg then just wait for your period to come. If it is positive, then you will know you are pregnant. I have been pregnant 6X's and always use the First Response test, they are the best.

aw i know this is a stressful time, hope your not too worried! i agree with momof1princess, it does sound like the first were false negatives, i have used first response early result and they have been reccommended SO many times! i also feel your stress, im three days late and have tested negative using first response. it is true that stress can cause you to be late, i think that this is the same for my case because ive had two negative results :( but hey, heres to praying for the result we want asap :) fingers crossd for you!
