Am I just being paranoid?

I have had signs of preterm labor since I was 28 weeks I am now almost 35 weeks. I've been gradually losing my mucus plug although I don't believe I've lost it completely yet. I've had off and on cramping for awhile now as well as horrible back/hip pain. I've been to L&D 3 times and everytime they say I'm just dehydrated(which I am not). And that the baby was down causing all the pressure. For the decreased movement I was told to eat more or drink something with lots of sugar and lay on left side which has not changed how often he moves.

For a few days I thought for sure I was getting sick but didn't. Then yesterday morning some things changed.  Instead of losing alittle mucus, a couple times it came out in bigger clumps(tmi sorry). The horrible back pain turned into a constant low dull ache that moved down my thighs, which is more bareable then the sharp pains. The pelvic pressure and pain also got a lot lower and walking is becoming a chore. I've also been nauseous since it all started but its not subsiding. I did try sleeping it off and it didn't help. I don't know if i should be worried or if its just all normal for how far I am. I do not want to go back to the hospital unless my water breaks or in excruciating pain. Everytime I go they blow it off as nothing and send me home and they tell me what to go back for which is usually the reasons I am there in the first place! So I am wondering if I am just being paranoid. Has anyone else went through this without going into labor? I am very frustrated and worried so any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response. As of right now no changes except the nausea is worse and I can not sleep. I am very much second guessing right now and completely unsure if its a false alarm or not. I can not tell if it's even contractions. With my first son it was very straight forward since I was induced there was no mistaking it. My belly button also hurts if its touched even just slightly by my shirt. Idk what that is either. If I do go to the hospital the chances of them checking me at all are very slim for fear of throwing me into labor. Last time I went I wasn't dialated any but thats the only check I've had.

I would go in and demand they check your cervix and monitor your contractions.  It sounds like preterm labor to me.  I had the same as what you are describing at 29 weeks and I went in to find I was contracting every 2 minutes and my cervix was over 1cm dialated.  I went into preterm labor weekly even with anti contraction meds and had to have a shot to have it stopped and that is what it felt like every time.  By the time I was 36 weeks they let me go off the meds and I had my baby at almost 38 weeks because my water broke.  I would always second guess myself weekly when this would happen, but it was actual contractions everytime even though it would just feel like what you are describing.  I know it's a pain to go to the hospital, but I am sure your doc would rather you go and it be nothing rather than labor progress at home if it in fact is since you are only 35 weeks.  Everything in pregnancy is so tricky because it could be normal symptoms and it could be actual pre-term labor... only one way to find out.  Best of luck to you xoxo
