Am I pregnant?

My name is Lyndsy, and I am 17. My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now. He recently was in a car accident, and was put in the Intensive Care Unit. My period is usually about the 10th of every month, and lasts about 7 days. This month (January) my period was on the 23rd and ended on the 26. It was not heavy either. We did not use protection. My breasts have been tender, and my stomach feels different. Am I confusing myself? Or was I late due to stress of the accident?

It is possible to be preggers, but stress will cause us to start late too. Now would be a good time to test if your not sure. I had mistaken implantation bleeding for my period in Oct. Now I'm 21w3d preggers. Good luck and keep us posted.

If it were me, I would take a test just to ease my mind and go from there.
