Am I wrong??

I'm a ftm with a baby boy.  I didn't share the news with anyone until about 11 to 12 weeks. RIGHT after I shared with my boyfriends family his sister told us she was 5 weeks pregnant. she did it so early that I didn't even have my moment of glory! im now 25+3 weeks and we have been saying since day one that the baby will be a jr so it's definitely known to everyone.  my boyfriends sister found out today shes slso having a boy and using my bfs name as her babys middle name! am I wrong for being so upset over this?? I want my babys name to be special not share part of it with his cousin! im on the verge of tears over this bc my bf just doesn't understand my sadness. I think hes caught up in feeling honored and its making it hard for him to see where im coming from. but then apart of me thinks am I just overreacting? help what do you ladies think!?

It's the hormones that are making you upset, it'll pass through your memory in no time- and it  won't even bother you after both kids are here. It's cute his sister wants to have your brothers name as his middle name :) And I also agree with the above comment, nobody calls anyone by their first and middle name. For all you know, everyone might be just calling your boy junior, which is very special :)

I can completely see why you are upset. But know that, eventually, her little boy will go by his own first name and nickname, and most people wont even know his middle name.

I think you should name your baby what you feel proud of despite anyone else's opinions or actions. :)

I don't think your overreacting hormones do some crazy things lol. But atleast she isn't taking his whole name! And it is a honor that she looks up to her brother so much that she wants to give her baby a part of his name, my guess is that you have yourself a pretty awesome guy who will be a great Daddy first and a great uncle after that!!!!! :)
