Another Pregnancy Question

My sister in law said her last period was April 23rd and it lasted about 6 days she told my mom a week and a half ago, that she is pregnant she took a few test and they where positive she said, is it possible to get a early result befor her actually missed period I thought you could only detect 5 days sooner!

Just wondering because it's hard to believe you can find out that soon!

A HPT can detect pregnancy as early as 10 days after conception.  Some women ovulate at different times during their cycle and if they get pregnant earlier into their cycle, the will be able to detect pregnancy sooner than someone that ovulates on day 14 with a 28 day cycle (even women with regular cycles can ovulate at unexpected times on occasion).

I have always been able to find out when I was pregnant way early...not sure how long before my missed period but it was more than 5 days.  Good luck to you...hope this is your month!!

Thanks my husband kept questioning it so I had to find out!

My last af was April 23rd as well but my cycles are 37 days and hers is 28 days cycle been feeling nauseated and felt bloated last week been cramping off and on since May 6th but i'll just have to wait and see they weren't ttc!

it dependes....
its different from woman to woman but if she have the amount of hormones in her body that the test would pick up, yes its true she could really be pregnant, it took me two 8 weeks to have a positive pregnancy test and i am really pregnant, so always remember that is easier to have a false negative than a false positive!!
